Labyrinth, my life
Here, on these pages, I bequeath my story
autobiographical perchance--surely lacking in eloquence and poise
Comprised of scribbles noted on bits of paper and canvas,
of memories I have failed to forget, spontaneous thoughts, and attempts at poetry and understanding.
A compilation of fragments
juxtaposed to form a...what?
an ... us?
I speak quietly and fall into the labyrinth of my soul....
where time becomes entwined in what are no longer hours
or months or years
fragments merging into one
the map broken in the abyss
the indecipherable night, or was it morning...?
The other night I stole a star from the sky
I keep it in my sock drawer
It reminds me of other infinities
and that I can now invent a new labyrinth.
